The main source for Tourism Accommodation and Capacity Statistics in Estonia is the Eurostat database[1]. Here the most harmonised and complete European Tourism Statistics can be found. Hence we use definitions according to Eurostat directives:

Hotels and similar Other collective accommodation
5 beds or more

Holiday dwellings = 5 beds or more
Camping sites = 5 pitches or more
Other collective accomodation n.e.s. = 5 beds or more

As additional sources TourMIS[2] and Statistics Estonia[3] are used complementary with clearly marked references.

Eurostat collects and publishes statistical data on different geographical levels according to the "Nomenclature of Territorial Units for Statistics, NUTS". In Estonia, NUTS 2 is identically with the whole country, this means that Eurostat does not deliver any regional data on overnight stays for Estonia. For your convenience you find a table with geographically more detailed data published by Statistics Estonia[3].

Based on the Flash Eurobarometer 291[4] of March 2010 we can identify the interest for their main holiday destination 2010 of the 422 million citizens aged 15+ years in the 27 EU member states (EU27).
